• Indie Game Night 7-20-15

Monday nights, 6PM, at Awesome Inc., we meet up to expose ourselves to indie games. C’mon out and look at how small game designers are pushing
the medium, or bring something we can play!

This week we played Turbo Taucher, Zenzizenzic, Wibble Wobble.

    Turbo Taucher

It’s a game about diving. The thing that really drew Tim to show this game is that it seems to have a really good grasp of movement through rotation. There doesn’t appear to be a win condition currently, or an indication of progress. The game is currently in progress and in the middle of development.

You can currently pick up the game on itch.io where it is currently in Alpha.

    Zenzizenzic

Zenzizenzic is the complex name for the fast-paced love letter to bullet hell games, in brighter colors than you’ve probably ever imagined. The game is interesting for it’s usage of color and for the way that it uses grey as the positive color — both for power ups and the core of your character.

The game is currently available on Steam Early Access, and you can find out more about the game at the website.

    Wibble Wobble

    Wibble Wobble

Wibble Wobble is a short little exploration game that features a wobbling and confusing line and a short little matchstick-like character that races across the screen. The particle effects are well done, especially on what appears at first glance to be a simple game, and while the game might be puzzling it is entertaining.

You can find the game on itch.io.
