RunJumpDev, the game development group for Central Kentucky, has launched their locally-made arcade cabinet filled with games made by local developers. The cabinet was shown to the public at Lexington’s Soundbar as part of Geeks Night Out on the evening of November 20th, 2013.
The cabinet, known as the Lexitron, was constructed primarily through RunJumpDev, as well as with collaboration with professional game companies like Super Soul and Shobu Games and organizations like Awesome Inc and Collexion. The cabinet was constructed in Lexington, and all six launch games were made by local independent developers.
As part of the PAX East 2014 trip, RunJumpDev plans to bring the Lexitron as one of the main features of the booth. It will be a great showcase of RunJumpDev’s smaller games, many by up and coming developers or games developed at game jams.
