• Global Game Jam: Results, Mothertruckers!

We had a brilliant turnout last weekend for the 2013 Global Game Jam! In 48 hours, dozens of people willed brand new games into existence. We finished with nine submissions, doubling last year’s four.

Here they are, in the order they appear on the GGJ page:

Human Enrichment Program is a computer-officiated live party game for almost any number of humans. The robots remembered the bread but forgot the circuses, so humans are offing themselves at an alarming rate. This enrichment program is designed to curb suicide by reminding us that we are all special.

“Meat makes us go! This is an abstract physics puzzle game inspired by the mechanics of the human heart (and the surprise of seeing the frailty of the human body in second grade health class).

The goal is to drive a ball to the black exit on the level. Clicking floor tiles makes waves that will push the ball along. Multiple clicks that produce intersecting waves will accumulate and make taller waves. Leap over chasms, jump walls and walk along perilous pathways.”

“Try to fit in without being socially awkward. Fitting in by matching social gestures will bring you out of your shell. Press an available key to perform social gestures. Use the mouse left-click to move between social circles. Your anxious heartbeat will subside and your confidence will ‘grow’ with each social success. Don’t be socially awkward.”

Come play the next Halo killer in this highly anticipated First-Person-Shooter! Rated T for Teddy. May contain some violent content and progressive gender themes.”
